Please note the start time for each course and ensure that the attending child arrives at least 10 minutes before the start time for registration.
IMPORTANT:
Pupils must bring their own cricket gear, which should include:
Beginners: A cricket bat
Intermediate and Advanced: Cricket Bat, Protective Gear, Pads, Batting Gloves, Helmet, Wicket keeping gloves (if required),
Conventional white cricket clothing and clean, non-marking rubber-soled footwear must be worn. Under no circumstances will studded boots or shoes be permitted in the MCC Cricket Academy. However, studded footwear may be required for outdoor activities. It is recommended that pupils should bring a warm sweater, since some practice will take place outside if weather and ground conditions permit.
USE OF HELMETS – Wicket Club will adhere strictly to the following directive: “A young player (up to the age of 18) should not be allowed to bat or to stand up to the stumps when keeping wicket without a helmet (with a faceguard) against a hard ball.”
Please note: Wicket Club reserves the right to cancel any course where it has not filled to a minimum of 12 places; at least one week’s notification will be given to this effect.
BOOKING CANCELLATIONS – It is regretted that once payment has been received and the booking confirmed, no refund will be given for cancellation of course or packed lunch where requested. In event of an illness or injury, a doctor’s certificate will be required and this must be received by the academy office in writing within one week of cancellation.
CONFIRMATION OF BOOKING – Once the order has been completed online, the Wicket Club Cricket Academy will send out written confirmation and further details including the MCC Coaching Course itinerary to the person responsible for the booking.
Online course applications will be instantly allocated and confirmed. If the course is marked “CLOSED” you are welcome to email the Wicket Club at [email protected] to request a place on the wait list.
REFUNDS & CANCELLATIONS – If you need to cancel a camp registration, and you make the request 15 or more days before the start date, a full refund, MINUS a 15% administrative fee (maximum of $15), will be offered. If you cancel a class/program registration 14 or fewer days before the start date, a refund of 50% will be offered.
Cancellation requests must be submitted in writing. The request should be dated and sent by email, fax, or mail directly to the facility manager or program manager offering the class/ program.
Wicket Club reserves the right to cancel or change a camp or activity due to insufficient enrollment or other reasonable cause. A full refund (including any applicable registration fee) will be offered.
